Kim McCaslin joined M. R. Development Corporation in 1997 as Vice President of Development.   M. R. Development is a real estate development firm specializing in single family lot development throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, creating quality neighborhoods for North Texas families.    

  In 2006, Ms. McCaslin diversified her business holdings to include commercial development, and founded Montclair Properties, Inc.  Since that time, she has developed mixed use commercial projects, office parks, neighborhood retail, and Class A Luxury Multifamily communities.   

Ms. McCaslin graduated from Texas Women’s University with a BS Degree in 1993, and before joining her family’s development company worked in corporate marketing.  M.R. Development needed a good marketing arm to further cement its position in the Municipalities in which they worked.  Ms. McCaslin was able to implement several key marketing strategies which has allowed both M. R. Development and Montclair Properties to develop lasting relationships within the municipalities where they work as well as establish a solid database of investors.  Ms. McCaslin’s primary responsibilities include land acquisition, contract negotiations, obtaining appropriate entitlements, marketing, builder relations, investor returns, and financing. 

Ms. McCaslin and her family have lived in Mansfield since 2002 and has served on the Community Advisory Board for Mansfield Community Bank, the Community Advisory Board for Mansfield Methodist Hospital, and is a former board member of Commercial Real Estate Women, Mansfield Education Foundation and the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
